Another reason to love blackberry bushes! For your teeth and gums, you can make a tea from the leaves, or chew the new leaves and spit them out when done. Blackberry leaves are a tonic and antiseptic. It has a regenerative action on the mucous membranes of the mouth.

Sage – dried and ground to a powder
Neem
Ceylon Cinnamon
Mix together. Add coconut oil. A very fine toothpaste.

Pour hot (not boiling) water over fresh or died Sage and let sit for 30 minutes. Strain off liquid. There is your mouthwash. Sage works especially well for gum health.
